There were many amazing moments to remember from Tuesday's inauguration of Barack Obama -- the emotion, the hope, the speech, the history being made. And of course, the First Couple dancing their first dance at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball. What can I say about Michelle Obama's dress that hasn't been said -- this dreamy, white creation by 26-year-old designer Jason Wu was absolutely stunning.
One-shouldered, covered with fabric petals and dotted with beads, the dress captured the new First Lady's elegance and modern sense of style, and showcased her beauty (as the President himself said, "How good-looking is my wife?"). Accessorized with dangling diamond earrings, the look was perfect. And her husband looked pretty terrific, too, in a single-vent tuxedo with white bow tie. Dancing to Beyonce's rendition of "At Last," the First Couple looked bright, beautiful, and very much in love. A toast to them -- and to all of us!
